The Flight

What to Expect

After booking with us to enjoy a magic balloon flight in Norfolk or Suffolk, you’ll receive confirmation via email along with essential details. From there, we begin tracking the weather closely.

  • Sunrise flights – You’ll receive a call the night before (usually around 8pm) confirming the flight and meeting location.
  • Sunset flights – You’ll hear from us on the morning of your flight (typically between 11am and 1pm).

If we need to cancel due to unsuitable conditions, we’ll offer the option to reschedule immediately or at a later date.

Flight Timings

Flight times vary by season:

  • Morning flights: Meeting between 5.30am and 7am
  • Evening flights: Meeting between 3pm and 6pm

These timings ensure the best possible views during your hot air balloon experience.

Where Will We Go?

Flights last around one hour, with the full experience taking roughly 3–4 hours.

We drift with the wind – there’s no steering! Our pilots assess the weather and wind direction in advance, but the exact route of your Norfolk balloon ride is always a surprise. You might travel just a couple of miles, or soar over 20. Either way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views and make memories to last a lifetime.

At the end of your hot air balloon ride, we land in a suitable field, pack down the balloon together as a team, and toast the experience with a traditional glass of Champagne.
