When people ask us why we fly in East Anglia, the answer is simple – because there’s nowhere quite like it.
Balloon flights over Norfolk and Suffolk offer something special. From the moment we lift gently into the sky, you start to see the landscape differently – not just fields and villages, but a living patchwork of history, wildlife and natural beauty.
On a recent hot air balloon flight from Priory Farm airfield, we drifted quietly over the countryside and watched the sun lower in the sky, casting beautiful shadows across the fields and trees. We passed over Bunwell Church, its tower catching the light, and spotted deer weaving through the fields below. Horses, cows, and sheep grazed peacefully, most of them completely unaware of the balloon floating silently above them.

This kind of experience isn’t unusual – it’s what makes hot air ballooning in Norfolk and Suffolk so special. There’s no rush. No engine. Just stillness, scenery and the soft whoosh of the burner as we rise.
We don’t fly over big cities or crowded landmarks. Instead, our routes offer an intimate view of the East Anglian countryside – quiet lanes, winding rivers, historic buildings and big skies that stretch on forever. It’s peaceful. It’s personal. It’s perfect.

If you’ve ever searched for a ‘hot air balloon ride near me’, or wondered whether it’s worth booking, we can only say: yes. Because once you’ve seen Suffolk and Norfolk from above, you’ll never see them the same way again.
